Daniel Chirot

Daniel Chirot is Job and Gertrud Tamaki Professor of International Studies at the University of Washington. His latest book is a short text called Contentious Identities: Ethnic, Religious, and Nationalist Conflicts in Today's World (Routledge 2011). He co-authored Why Not Kill Them All? with Clark McCauley (Second edition, Princeton University Press 2010). He also recently had a revised edition of How Societies Change published (Sage 2011).
